The Society for Applied Business Ethics, founded in 2012, focuses on the challenging combination of ethics and business. The standard giver is our partner in the areas of product certification and certified sustainability in companies. Its flagship is the world’s most demanding sustainability certification CSE (Certified-Sustainable-Economics), a standard for sustainable business. The CSE standard provides a clear benchmark for operations in all industries and serves as a comprehensive sustainability credential for customers and business partners.
In addition, GfaW offers two ecological product certifications: NCS (Natural Cosmetics Standard) for certified natural cosmetics with four labeling options: NCS, NCS-vegan, NCS-Organic-Quality and NCS-vegan-Organic-Quality. And NCPS (Nature Care Product Standard) for products of daily use, also possible in vegan labeling.

The Prüfgesellschaft
The Prüfgesellschaft ökologischer Landbau is our partner for the EC organic control of food. The Prüfgesellschaft ökologischer Landbau mbH was founded as an association in 1991 out of the organic sector. It is approved as an organic inspection body in Germany and Luxembourg by the relevant government agencies. The inspection company is a close cooperation partner of Demeter e.V.
